Stefan Marchioro

Stefan Marchioro has been involved in tourism since 1990 as director of the Tourist Board of Padua & Terme Euganee. He is currently Head of Territorial Projects and Governance of Tourism at the Veneto Region . Since 2003 he has collaborated with the University of Padua and is currently adjunct professor of Tourism Economics, member of the Organizing Committee of the Master in Design of tourism offer. He is a member of the Scientific Committee of ITS Turismo Veneto and of the journals Tourism and Psychology and Regional Studies and Local Development. Since 2018 he has been a member of the Advisory Board of the BTO of Florence. He has dedicated numerous publications to the topics of destination management and governance.
