Nowadays, more and more cities are investing in innovation and are aiming at becoming smarter and tech-driven and inclusive. This session touches on many different topics in order to provide you with a full picture of what being a Smart City means.

Reflecting on the future of cities is understandably relevant at the moment. Cities that used to thrive are now majorly impacted by travel restrictions, gathering bans and declining revenue.

All this will be first discussed in a panel brought together by European Capital of Smart Tourism and moderated by DTTT's CEO and Founder Nick Hall, who'll be joined by Marc Sanderson, International Economic Development Director at City of Malaga and Katarina Thorstensson, Smart Tourism & Sustainability Strategist at Göteborg & Co.

The session does not end here. Nick Hall interviews the two destinations separately to gather an even more accurate perspective shared by City of Malaga and Göteborg & Co. and discover what their plans look like for 2021.
