The tourism industry in Bhutan is relatively young; in 2008, realizing the significance of a multi-sectoral approach to improve tourism development, the Tourism Council of Bhutan has been founded and now operates to promote one of the most exclusive travel destinations in the world.

In this interview, Isabel Mosk, Tourism Strategist and DTTT Expert, is leading a discussion with Damcho Rinzin, in charge of the promotion of Bhutan as a travel destination. In this session, we will be setting a new vision, based on a unique model of tourism that put happiness and sustainability at the heart of what they do.
