We find ourselves in the midst of the biggest crisis of our time, with a global pandemic which doesn't seem to go away and an economic impact unimaginable only a year ago. Today, government debt is mounting by the day - as the majority of the travel industry remains closed and grounded, the social and economic cost weigh heavily. So with a global recession now a certainty, what is the impact likely to be for the future of tourism and its eventual recovery. Whilst none of us have a crystal ball, we do thankfully have historical and real-time data together with the ability to map out possible future scenarios. Join us at this critical point as we look forward to 2021 and beyond for this important talk from Adam Sacks, President of Tourism Economics, where we'll try to take a look at the economic questions around the current pandemic and understand how likely recovery looks and what form it might take.
