We find ourselves in the midst of the biggest crisis of our time, with a global pandemic which doesn't seem to go away and an economic impact unimaginable only a year ago. Today, government debt is mounting by the day - as the majority of the travel industry remains closed and grounded, the social and economic cost weigh heavily. So with a global recession now a certainty, what is the impact likely to be for the future of tourism and its eventual recovery. Whilst none of us have a crystal ball, we do thankfully have historical and real-time data together with the ability to map out possible future scenarios.
